Another Landscape...

9 x 12 in
Oil on Canvas Panel

This is another painting I did today of the beach here in Key Biscayne.  I am starting to see more and more that landscape painting is not my forte but I am still trying though.  Its difficult to do paintings when visiting family, when we go to the beach for some reason its easier to paint.  I am currently painting a couple small still lifes and will post them soon, hope you enjoy!

I want to jump into that water so bad..
Jonathan, whatever you paint is enjoyable to the viewer, don't be so hard on yourself.
(Hey your on vacation, kick some sand man!)
I'm one of your "fans" and I can't tell you how well your paintings "read" !!

Abey-Muchas gracias por esas palabras, me ayudan mucho porque en realidad no creo que mi paisajes son tan buenos, so muchas gracias!

Bill-Thank you so much Bill I really appreciate it, it means a lot. Its just hard switching your brain to a different way of painting after doing such diligent work with still lifes. Thank you again Bill!

Love the colors, love the vibrancy. Makes me wonder why we live in the Twin Cities!

Judy-Thank you for the comment, being at the beach does make it hard to come back to the frigid temperatures.

Hey again Johnathan!... Love these landscapes...well designed... spontaneous... colour... and warm!

There is very little question that your still life paintings are superb... BUT....how many of them have you painted????

Technique is acquired... in any genre... stick at the landscapes... and keep cranking the stills! Be happy! That's what counts!

Warm regards!
